Not so long ago, this little fella' was discovered in the adjoining field as a five-foot tree.
We thought of kidnapping and transplanting him; but we let him stay where Mother Nature place him.

Hi Geoff,
ReplyDeleteYep, love those sweetgums, they are beautiful trees !
If you're able, make a shot of our lot from the street, too and feel free to share the beauty of all our sweetgums, before we prune the limbs higher this winter. Right now, the limbs grow low to the ground & I'm sure they will be spectacularly beautiful as the leaves begin to turn colors.
And, by the way, we'll have many sweetgums we'll be relocating, many who'll need new homes soon, so, if you want one, we'll be glad to pick you out some from our island of sweetgums.
Enjoy the river, float for us!
