The last hurrah

There's the Final Four of the season. The watermelons were lots of fun this year-- tasty, too.

Morning glories, watermelon (big), mowing the yard, the field of yellow as summer begins to wane at the river.

Is it an oxymoron to think of watermelons when there hasn't been rain for awhile until this past day? Anyway, these little fellows (planted by a cute Virginian) are looking pretty good. Let's stay tuned and see them again in a month.
