Back home at the farm
We're back at the river today. The garden is full of tomatoes, potatoes, squash, onions, corn, cabbage, broccoli, watermelon, cantaloupe, green beans, jalapeƱo peppers, cucumbers and some herbs.

We spent Labor Day weekend at our cabin at Riverbend. Highlights: Larry and I had a lovely visit from neighbors, Geoff and Amy, in their new Cub Cadet utility vehicle. Cool!
ReplyDeleteOur float down the river Sunday was on inner tubes - it doesn't get any better! An apple tree we planted 5 or 6 years ago finally produced apples, and Janet baked a pie. We saw two skunks in a mating ritual when they didn't kow we were watching. They were so beautiful we'll never look at skunks the same!
